Cal had been bouncing around the galaxy for a few years now, looking for people to help while doing his best to avoid the Empire. It was amazing considering how big the galaxy was that he always seemed to need to hide from the Empire. It was like a sickness that spread through the life of the galaxy. Cal maybe wasn't even going to cure it but he could help people. Even if it was just one person at a time he could help people.
It wasn't even always the Empire either, sometimes it was corruption or slavery or other types of corruption. That was why he was on Taris now, or at least he had assumed he was. Usually he'd heard information from something about a problem on another planet or in another sector that needed help. Sometimes though, like right now, he was here because the Force told him to be.
Which could be a little frustrating because he had no idea what he was supposed to do. Sometimes the Force made it very clear what to do (move your lightsaber here so the blaster bolt doesn't kill you) or (go to Taris) but other times it wasn't (be in Taris).
Sighing Cal ran a hand through his hair and looked down at BD-1, the little droid staring back at him.
"So, what do you think?" he asked. "Are we here to get some rest and relaxation?"
Beep, bwoop.
"Yeah," Cal said with a sigh and took another sip of water. "I don't think so either."
